Three Card Poker

How to Play

Three Card Poker is actually two games in one:
There is the Play/Ante game where you are playing against the dealer to see who has the highest hand. There is also the Pair Plus game where you are wagering on whether or not you will be dealt a pair or better.

How to Play

  1. Players purchase tokens from the table.
  2. Before any cards are dealt, you decide whether to place a bet on Ante and/or on Pair Plus.
  3. The Dealer then deals three cards to each player
  4. If you have placed an Ante bet and you believe your hand is high enough to beat the Dealer’s hand, then you can continue to play by placing an additional bet equal to your original Ante bet.
  5. If you believe your hand will not beat the Dealer’s or you do not have a Pair, then you can fold and your bets will be collected by the Dealer.
  6. Once all Players have placed a play bet or folded, the Dealer will turn their cards face up. To qualify, the Dealer must have a hand of at least Queen high. If they don’t have a Queen then all Ante, Ante bonus and winning Pair Plus bets are paid.
  7. If the Dealer qualifies and your hand beats the Dealer’s, then your Ante and Play bets are paid at even money.
Ranking of hands

The ranking of hands in Three Card Poker is different from traditional Poker. In Three Card Poker a Straight beats a Flush and a Three of a Kind beats a Straight.

Buy-In

Wait for the current round of play to end and ask the croupier to buy-in for your desired amount (Different tables have different minimum bets). Money can’t be handed directly to the croupier, so place it on the table and the croupier will exchange for chips.
