How to play

Electronics

Electronic gaming terminals allow you to play various ‘live’ casino games from the comfort of your own terminal. Games include: Roulette and Baccarat.

Single and Double Zero Roulette

Cameras are positioned over Live or Automated Roulette Wheels to show action live on your screen. When the ball drops into the winning number, it is detected by an electronic reader on the wheel and the information is transmitted to your terminal.

When the ‘place your bet’ message appears on the screen, simply touch the screen where you want to place your chips – one touch one chip, two touches two chips etc. The value of the bets made will be deducted from your credit. The dealer operating the Live Wheel, or the Automated Wheel, spins the ball. When ‘no more bets’ is highlighted on the screen, the machine will lock out and it will not be possible to add or remove any chips from that spin. After the ball lands in the winning number, the winning number is highlighted on the terminal and all winning bets are credited. Your winnings are shown in the ‘Win Box’ on the terminal before being added to your credits.

Jackpot Roulette

Some of our Electronic Casino Game Terminals also have additional Progressive Pots which can be won at random when playing.

Baccarat

As with Roulette, you are playing as part of a live game. Cards are dealt Live and the image is shown on the screen of the Gaming Terminal.

The aim of the game is to place a wager on the hand you believe will receive the higher total. You may also bet that both hands have the same total, or tie. Once all bets are placed two hands (each of two cards), are dealt - one to the Punto (Player) and one to the Banco (Banker).

Additional cards may be drawn by the live Dealer, according to the table of play. After all cards have been dealt by the dealer, any winnings will show in the ‘Win Box’ on the terminal before being added to your credits.

WAN

WAN (wide area network) Gaming Terminals

Some of our Electronic Gaming terminals offer games which are operated from other Aspers Casinos, details of the casino hosting the game will be shown by means of sticker located on the top left hand corner of the terminal, example ‘Live from Newcastle’.

What is the cost?

The minimum cost varies on each game, roulette can be played from as little as 10p and card games from £2.

How do I Play?

Insert a £5, £10, £20 or £50 note into the terminal, the cash will then automatically be registered and displayed on the screen. You can then select the game you want to play and the chip value you want to use.

Who Pays my Winnings?

You can choose to take your credits at any time or you can allow them to build up until you have finished playing on the terminal. When you want to take your cash, press the ‘cash’ or ‘payout’ button. A receipt or ticket will be produced for all credit/winnings. Values up to £300 (£600 if inserting your Aspers Rewards Loyalty Card) can be exchanged for cash using one of the ticket redemption terminals, or played on another machine. Winnings over £300 can be exchanged for cash at the Cash Desk.

Is it a Slot Machine?

No, apart from using bank notes for credits, it is simply a visual and automated link to a live or automated casino game.

Spread-Bet Roulette

The aim of the Spread-Bet Roulette side bet is to correctly guess the winning total of two numbers, one being the winning number on the table and the other being a random number from a computer generated wheel. There are 7 Spread-Bet wager options, each covering a different set of total numbers and each paying different odds, for you to bet on.

Place your bets on any number of the 7 Spread-Bet wager options, each option covers a different range of totals and is colour coded for easy identification.

Spread-Bet Range Colour
0 – 1 Green
2 - 4 Yellow
5 - 28 Purple
29 - 47 Red
48 - 67 Orange
68 - 70 Pink
71 – 72 Blue

When the dealer spins the ball the winning number display on each table will show two wheels –

The outside wheel is a representation of the roulette wheel that is on the table, with 18 black numbers, 18 red numbers, a green 0.

The inside wheel is a representation of a computer generated wheel, with exactly the same numbers as the table roulette wheel in exactly the same order, all numbers are a gold colour.

These wheels will start to spin, in opposite directions. When the ball begins to slow down the display will briefly change to show “No more Spread-Bets” and then change back to show both wheels which will stop and align with each other so that each number on the outside wheel corresponds to a number on the inside wheel. The centre of the wheel will cycle through each of the colours until a winning number is decided.

The display will show the winning number for the table as usual as well as the total of the winning numbers from both the outside and inside wheels.

This total will be displayed against the background colour of the corresponding spread-bet.

The dealer will clear all the losing bets, leaving behind any winning bets which will then be paid at the following odds.

Spread-bet Range Odds House Edge
0 - 1 400-1 12.1%
2 - 4 100-1 11.5%
